A CometAPI alternative: Revana and CometAPI prices, model by model

The short answer

CometAPI and Revana both resell AI video and image models through one API key. Revana is cheaper for Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 at 1K to 4K, Seedance 2.0 Mini and Grok Imagine Video, sells Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and with a video input, which CometAPI does not list, and does not charge for failed or refused jobs. The tables below list only the settings where Revana's price is lower.

• Seedance 2.5 at 1080p: Revana's $0.55 a second has no CometAPI price to compare: its Seedance 2.5 page stops at 720p.
• Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2: Revana's $0.04 an image for Nano Banana Pro is 63% below CometAPI's $0.1072 at 2K and 79% below it at 4K. Nano Banana 2 is 63% below CometAPI at 2K.
• Grok Imagine Video and Seedance 2.0 Mini: Revana is 37% below CometAPI on Grok Imagine Video 1.5 at 720p and 22% below it on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p.
• Failed jobs, one key, agents: on Revana the price is held at submit and released if the job fails or the model refuses the prompt. One key covers every model, there is an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex, and the balance is prepaid from $10 with no subscription.

CometAPI's Seedance 2.5 page prices 480p and 720p text and image to video. Revana also sells 1080p and jobs with a video input (edits, extensions and video to video), which are priced lower than plain generation:

CometAPI also sells text and chat models, which Revana does not. For a model that is not in the tables above, compare the two price lists before you move it. Revana covers the main video and image models (the model catalogue lists them) and fits best when you need Seedance 2.5 at 1080p or with a video input, generate many Nano Banana images, or want failed and refused jobs not to cost anything. Each job goes to the lowest-cost route for that model and setting and moves to another route if that one fails.

Switching from CometAPI

Create a key on the sign-up page, add credit, and send the job to Revana instead. The model name and the input fields are in the docs; for Seedance 2.5 at 1080p the call is:

The response carries a job id; poll it, or pass a webhook, and the finished video's link comes back with cost_usd, the exact amount charged. The Seedance 2.5 API guide covers every option, and agents can make the same call through the MCP server.

How we compared

CometAPI's figures are from its own model pages on 28 October 2026: Seedance 2.5 and Nano Banana Pro among them. Each page shows a reference price and an actual price, 80% of the reference; the actual price is used. Card fees, top-up fees and volume discounts are left out on both sides. The raw numbers, each with the date it was checked, are in market-prices.json.
