Cheapest AI video generation API in 2026: price per second, model by model

The short answer

• Seedance 2.5: Revana's $0.55 per second at 1080p is the lowest 1080p price we found; ByteDance's own API does not list 1080p. At 480p and 720p, ByteDance's own token price is a little lower: Revana is 7% above it at 480p.
• Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 Mini: Revana's $0.15 at 720p and Mini's $0.03 at 480p are the lowest prices listed, below ByteDance's own.
• Veo 3.1 Lite and Fast: Lite at 1080p is $0.06 a second, 25% below Google's $0.08; Fast with sound is 8% below Google at 1080p. Veo 3.1 itself costs the same everywhere.
• Seedance 2.0 Fast, Wan and PixVerse: Seedance 2.0 Fast is $0.11 a second at 720p, 9% below ByteDance's own; Wan 3.0, 2.7 and 2.6 are 15% below, 7% below and 27% below fal at 1080p; PixVerse V6 at 1080p with sound is $0.10, 13% below fal.
• Cheapest video model of all: on Revana, Grok Imagine Video at 480p costs $0.02 a second, so a 10 second clip is $0.20, 60% below xAI's own price. Grok Imagine Video 1.5 is 50% below xAI at 720p (Grok Imagine Video pricing).
• Failed jobs are free on Revana: the price is held when you submit and charged only if the video comes back.

Where another API is cheaper

Revana is not the cheapest at every setting. Where a model maker's own API lists a lower or equal price, it is here too:

ByteDance bills Seedance by tokens, so its per-second figures are worked out for a 16:9 clip at 24 frames a second; other aspect ratios change them. Buying from ByteDance or Google directly also means a separate account, key and balance for each maker, where Revana runs all of them from one key and falls back to another route when one fails.

Every outside figure comes from the seller's own public price page on 26 October 2026: ByteDance's own API, Google's own API, fal, EvoLink, Runway API and Atlas Cloud.
