Cheapest Seedance 2.5 API: every price per second, compared
The same Seedance 2.5 clip costs very different amounts depending on which API you call it through. This page lists the per-second list price at each API we checked, how the numbers were worked out, and which is cheapest at each resolution.
The short answer
- 1080p: Revana's $0.55 per second is the lowest 1080p price for Seedance 2.5 we found. Segmind lists $0.5876, Runway's API $0.68, EvoLink $0.739 and WaveSpeed $0.90. ByteDance's own API (and OpenRouter, which resells it at the same token price) lists Seedance 2.5 at 480p and 720p only, fal's endpoint stops at 720p, and Atlas Cloud shows only a 480p price.
- 480p and 720p: ByteDance's own token price works out to $0.1028 and $0.2311 per second for a 16:9 clip. Revana's $0.11 is 7% above that at 480p and its $0.25 is 8% above it at 720p. Replicate passes ByteDance's price straight through ($0.1028 and $0.2312); Segmind, EvoLink, Runway, WaveSpeed and fal all list more than ByteDance at both resolutions, and so does Atlas Cloud at 480p ($0.134).
- With a video input (video to video, edits and extensions): Revana's $0.06 per second at 480p and $0.34 at 1080p are the lowest listed prices for those jobs; at 720p Revana's $0.15 is 9% above ByteDance's own $0.1382.
- No minimum and no charge for failures: you pay the per-second price times the clip length, from a 4 second clip up to 30 seconds, and a job that fails costs nothing.
Seedance 2.5 price per second, by API
List prices for a 16:9 clip with sound, checked on each seller's own page on 26 October 2026. Sound costs the same as silence everywhere in this table.
| API | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revana | $0.11 | $0.25 | $0.55 |
| ByteDance's own API | $0.1028 | $0.2311 | – |
| Replicate | $0.1028 | $0.2312 | – |
| Segmind | $0.1065 | $0.2389 | $0.5876 |
| EvoLink | $0.138 | $0.296 | $0.739 |
| Runway API | $0.20 | $0.30 | $0.68 |
| WaveSpeed | $0.18 | $0.36 | $0.90 |
| fal | $0.2205 | $0.473 | – |
| Atlas Cloud | $0.134 | – | – |
OpenRouter charges ByteDance's token price unchanged and adds a 5.5% fee when you buy credits, so its effective rate is a little above ByteDance's row. Runway's API bills at least 80 credits per generation, which makes short clips cost more than the per-second rate suggests.
With a video input
Video to video, edits and extensions take a source clip. Sellers bill these at a lower rate per second, and the seconds of the input clip count as well as the output.
| API | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revana | $0.06 | $0.15 | $0.34 |
| ByteDance's own API | $0.0615 | $0.1382 | – |
| EvoLink | $0.084 | $0.18 | $0.45 |
What a Seedance 2.5 clip costs on Revana
Revana bills Seedance 2.5 per second of output, from $0.11 per second. Every response quotes the price in dollars before the job runs, so there is nothing to convert from tokens or credits. If the first route cannot make a clip and a dearer backup does, that route's price applies; set max_cost_usd to the quoted price to skip dearer backups.
| Resolution | Per second | 5 s clip | 10 s clip | 30 s clip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 480p | $0.11 | $0.55 | $1.10 | $3.30 |
| 720p | $0.25 | $1.25 | $2.50 | $7.50 |
| 1080p | $0.55 | $2.75 | $5.50 | $16.50 |
All prices are on the pricing page and in the model catalogue, which lists every model and resolution as a JSON file too.
How we compared
Every figure comes from the seller's own public price page on 26 October 2026: Replicate, Segmind, fal, Runway API, EvoLink, WaveSpeed and Atlas Cloud. Segmind prices by the output token and publishes its own per-second table, used here for 16:9. Atlas Cloud's model page shows one base price; its tables for Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini put that base at 480p, so it appears here as the 480p price. ByteDance's own figure is the list token price of its ModelArk API, the same token price OpenRouter shows for it.
Some sellers price Seedance 2.5 by the token. ByteDance counts a second of video as width × height × 24 frames ÷ 1024 tokens, so a 16:9 second is 9,608 tokens at 480p (854×480) and 21,600 at 720p (1280×720). Other aspect ratios have slightly different pixel counts. Card fees, top-up fees and volume discounts are left out, and the raw numbers, each with the date it was checked, are in market-prices.json.
Beyond the per-second price
- Failed jobs are free. The price is held when you submit and released if the job fails. Revana tries the other routes before giving up, with five routes for Seedance 2.5.
- One key for every model. The same API key and request format call Seedance 2.0, Veo 3.1, Kling, Wan and the image models. See one API for every AI video model.
- Prepaid credit, no subscription. Credit packs start at $10.
- A spending cap per job. Send max_cost_usd and any route priced above it is skipped, so a job never costs more than you set.

What is the cheapest Seedance 2.5 API?
It depends on the resolution. At 1080p, Revana's $0.55 per second was the lowest price we found in October 2026. At 480p and 720p, ByteDance's own token price works out to $0.1028 and $0.2311 per second for a 16:9 clip, against Revana's $0.11 and $0.25.
How much does a 10 second Seedance 2.5 video cost?
On Revana, a 10 second clip costs $1.10 at 480p, $2.50 at 720p and $5.50 at 1080p, with or without sound.
Is there a minimum charge per Seedance 2.5 clip?
Not on Revana: you pay the per-second price times the clip length, and the shortest clip is 4 seconds. Runway's API bills at least 80 credits per generation.
Why do Seedance 2.5 prices differ so much between APIs?
Resellers add their own margin on top of ByteDance's token price, and some round token prices up to per-second or per-credit rates. Per-generation minimums, top-up fees and fallback to other routes also change what you really pay.
Am I charged when a Seedance 2.5 job fails?
No. Revana holds the price when you submit and releases it if the job fails, after trying the other routes first.
