An AI/ML API alternative: Revana and AI/ML API prices, model by model
AI/ML API (aimlapi.com) and Revana sell many of the same video and image models through one key. Here is every setting both list, side by side, and what moving over takes.
The short answer
At the per-second prices AI/ML API states on its model pages, Revana is cheaper for every model where both list a comparable price: Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Veo 3.1, Veo 3.1 Fast and Lite, Kling 2.6 Pro, Wan 3.0, HappyHorse, Hailuo 2.3, Nano Banana and FLUX.2 Pro. Revana also lists a price for every resolution of every model, and does not charge for failed or refused jobs.
- Seedance 2.5: Revana sells 1080p at $0.55 a second, 19% below AI/ML API's $0.67603, and 720p at $0.25, 17% below its $0.30046.
- Veo 3.1: $0.40 a second with sound on Revana, 23% below AI/ML API's $0.52; Veo 3.1 Fast with sound is 44% below it.
- Wan 3.0 and HappyHorse: Wan 3.0 at 1080p is $0.17 a second on Revana, 35% below AI/ML API's $0.26; HappyHorse at 1080p is 19% below it.
- Failed jobs, one key, agents: on Revana the price is held at submit and released if the job fails or the model refuses the prompt. One key covers every model, there is an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex, and the balance is prepaid from $10 with no subscription.

When AI/ML API is still the better pick
AI/ML API sells hundreds of chat, embedding, speech and music models next to video and images, which Revana does not; if one key for all of those matters most, that is its strength. Revana covers the main video and image models (the model catalogue lists them) and fits best when video and image generation is most of your spend, or when you want failed and refused jobs not to cost anything. Each job goes to the lowest-cost route for that model and setting and moves to another route if that one fails.
Switching from AI/ML API
Create a key on the sign-up page, add credit, and send the job to Revana instead. The model name and the input fields are in the docs; for Seedance 2.5 at 1080p the call is:
curl https://api.revana.si/v1/generations \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $REVANA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"model": "seedance-2.5",
"input": {
"prompt": "A barista pours latte art in slow motion, morning light through the café window.",
"resolution": "1080p",
"duration": 10,
"aspect_ratio": "16:9"
},
"max_cost_usd": 6
}'The response carries a job id; poll it, or pass a webhook, and the finished file's link comes back with cost_usd, the exact amount charged. Agents can make the same call through the MCP server, and the model catalogue lists every model and setting.
How we compared
AI/ML API's figures are from its model pages, such as Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast, read on 28 October 2026. Each page shows a headline price and, in its API Pricing section, a price about 1.3 times higher; the second, stated as what the model is priced at, is used here. If you pay the headline price, the gap to Revana is smaller, and on some settings AI/ML API would be lower. Seedance 2.5 is priced by tokens and converted at width times height times 24 frames over 1,024 tokens a second. Veo prices name no resolution and are shown at 720p and 1080p. Card fees, top-up fees and volume discounts are left out on both sides. The raw numbers, each with the date it was checked, are in market-prices.json.
